@MrBeJeCa95 Thanks man! Glad you liked that one too, I wish it was re-considered around Awards time for at least some cinematography or production design/costume design awards. Underrated & definitely enjoyable! :)

  2. FilmFanPete says:

@BBTV402 Thanks man, I appreciate it! I thought it had some great ideas, and a unique concept as well. But I don’t think it pay’s off for what it promises. Some of the dialogue exchanges were so corny and ridiculous, I couldn’t tell if it was bad screenwriting or bad acting, and that’s never a good thing. I ended up just thinking it was OK.

  3. FilmFanPete says:

@InsaneBurger Yeah I know a lot of people liked that one, perhaps I’ll have to watch it again down the road, just didn’t dig it the first time. :)

  4. FilmFanPete says:

@movieguy712 lol, glad you liked it man. I wasn’t crazy about the movie, but if you’re a fan of the film, the Blu Ray is a nice package. It is unfortunately on a “flipper disc” (blu on one side, dvd on the other). :(

  5. JokerTheNoNameGamer says:

I Might Have To Grab That Harold And Kumar..You Dont Have To Go And Bu Them Lol You Have Most And I Think That Steelbook Will Fly Fast Off The Shelves. You Got It So Your Safe. I Might Get That Twilight Just For The Steelbook Aspect. Good Releases

  6. igotcha77 says:

Harold and Kumar!!!!! Screw Twilight. IN MY OPINION Twilight films are a serious waste of money and film and should’ve stayed a book over an over-produced, over-dramatic, poorly-acted, pathetic excuse of a film. And a Saturday release? Really? That just ruined my whole day at work on the 11th. Just Saying.

  7. FilmFanPete says:

@movieguy712 Just wasn’t a good release for an unboxing video. It has one insert with the Digital Copy, and the disc is a FLIPPER disc.

  8. FilmFanPete says:

    @LightNightFright Glad I wasn’t the only one!

  9. FilmFanPete says:

@TomVeliotis Haha thanks Tom!! Yes, definitely an interesting week for releases. Oh it’s such a bad week. I don’t know why they couldn’t have taken just a few good releases from other weeks and thrown them in with Feb 7th. ;)

  10. moovieman222 says:

@FilmFanPete haha nope. I didn’t hate it, but whenever a joke was cracked or whenever someone said something that was supposed to be funny, it was awkward. :) Just didn’t find it funny.

  11. FilmFanPete says:

@igotcha77 LOL, oh man sorry to hear that. I hate when my day is ruined in advance. It’s like pre-ordering spilling your coffee on your suit & your boss catching you coming in late through the side door. ;)

  12. FilmFanPete says:

    @LightNightFright LOL.

  13. FilmFanPete says:

@armorales102 Yep. See below for how I feel about Twilight. :)

  14. trepacer says:

thanks for the update - Lady and the tramp is the only movie that interests me – want to see in high definition!!!!!

  15. FilmFanPete says:

@kzt78 Thank you! I’m going to have to get my hands on that one too! :)

  16. movieguy712 says:

OMFG PETE!!! YOU R THE MAN AS SOON AS YOU PULLED OUT HAROLD & KUMAR I LITERALLY SHOOK IN AMAZEMENT!!! I WANTED TO SCREAM BUT EVERYONE WAS SLEEPING!!! BEST MOVIE EVER! TOUCHE, SUMMIT, TOUCHE. LOL

  17. bluraymex23 says:

Harold and kumar could of been so much better, but I need to get it so my trilogy will be complete .

  18. FilmFanPete says:

@robyn176 Thanks Robyn! Haha, yeah I don’t know what it is about those movies that divides us so. My wife & I appreciate the corny soap-opera aspect, and just have some laughs, and on that level I find them enjoyable. Yeah “Lady & The Tramp” is great, I’m really looking forward to seeing how it looks in High Definition. Thanks for watching! :)

  19. BBTV402 says:

I see that you have the movie “In Time” on Blu-ray in the background. What did you think of it? I thought it was good and an original concept for a Sci Fi movie but I just dont think its one that people must go out of their way to see. Anyways great vid. Keep up the good work.

  20. AgentDuckMan says:

Did you skip 1/24/12? I don’t remember you mentioning 50/50. Have you seen Chronicle? It’s awesome.

  21. smcauley600 says:

i bet when bram stoker wrote dracula and both universal and hammer made the dracula movies i bet the last thing on there minds was “a story with undead creatures that drink human blood what a great valentines gift” both Stephanie mayer and summit entertainment have turn vampires into a joke.

btw how did you get companies to send you movies to review are you a professional critic or something

  22. FilmFanPete says:

@trepacer Haha I don’t blame you Trepacer, just an AWFUL week for releases. Luckily, the rest of the month looks a little better. :)

  23. FilmFanPete says:

@MrCemeteryman So appreciate it!! Awesome that you got Lady & The Tramp early! Disney releases are always a blast to re-watch in Hi Def! Thanks for the kind words!

  24. MrCemeteryman says:

I liked your video to help ya out from those pathetic trolls lol. I would have liked it anyway, I got lady and the tramp early and cant wait to see it again.I havent seen it since i was a kid. Great video and keep up the good work!

  25. JWUniverse says:

Very good video Pete I may end up watching Harold & Kumar and I agree Twilight suucks. What’s with all the dislikes btw lol so many trolls.

  26. JWUniverse says:

@FilmFanPete LMAO yeah I have or two on mines as well.

  27. FilmFanPete says:

    @bluraymex23 Yeah I know that feeling, I’m a completist too. :)

  28. FilmFanPete says:

@moovieman222 Good to hear, I thought I was just losing it. Haha. :)

  29. MrBeJeCa95 says:

Great video! I really enjoyed Anonymous as well. I will probably pick it up in the future. Otherwise, not much else this week that I want.

  30. genekelly101 says:

@FilmFanPete – Yeah not looking forward to it. Damn Twilight.

  31. movieguy712 says:

why no harold and kumar unboxing???

  32. InsaneBurger says:

I LOVED HAROLD AND KUMAR!!! It was my favorite sequel of the year believe it or not.

  33. FilmFanPete says:

@RantingRobots LOL, ohhhh infant drug use. Wafflebot was pretty awesome, I need one. Say, I bet you two could hook that up huh? ;)

  34. moovieman222 says:

I agree that Harold and Kumar 3 wasn’t that funny, I thought it was very overrated.

  35. RantingRobots says:

Bleep and I thought the best part about Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas was Wafflebot. I mean seriously, a robot who makes the entire movie worthwhile because lets face it a baby with a cocaine addiction isn’t very funny.

  36. FilmFanPete says:

@AgentDuckMan I did skip that day, just ended up getting really busy with unboxings & reviews. I LOVED 50/50 though, such a great movie! JGL should have been nominated imo. I haven’t seen Chronicle, and frankly didn’t like the trailers, but I see that it’s getting GREAT reviews so maybe I’ll have to check it out! :)

  37. kzt78 says:

Great vid Pete! Might have to pick up It’s a mad mad mad mad mad world. Great film.

  38. darknightmatt says:

I’ll be picking up all three of the different editions of Twilight haha!

  39. FilmFanPete says:

@TeriyakiZombie Thank you!! Yeah I kind of gave it a hard time here, lol. Just wasn’t my cup o’ tea, but I could definitely see how others could enjoy it for it’s genre.

  40. TomVeliotis says:

That little joke you made about Twilight in the beginning was hilarious! Great video man! You got some interesting Blu-Rays to say the least.

  41. TeriyakiZombie says:

I rather enjoyed Yakuza Weapon and it was fun…maybe it’s because I’m Japanese…but anyway great video FilmFanPete!

  42. LightNightFright says:

That was the most epic Slow clap i have ever seen

  43. FilmFanPete says:

@darknightmatt Yeah, Summit’s got me fiending for watchable soap too. I’ll enjoy the BB steelbook for sure, the cover design looks quite nice.

  44. FilmFanPete says:

@JokerTheNoNameGamer Hopefully BB stocks enough of the steelbooks, from my experience I have still seen the steelbook releases of the previous film at certain best buy’s. I don’t actually have it yet, I was showing the New Moon & Eclipse steelbooks. Thanks man glad you liked the video! :)

  45. FilmFanPete says:

@JWUniverse Thanks man! You know what? It’s funny. I actually don’t hate Twilight, and find them kind of interesting in the way that a train wreck is interesting lol. They have such soap-opera esque stories, but some part of me must see all of them. Totally watchable ridiculousness, that’s how I’ll sum them up! Haha, yeah the “troll.” It’s just one guy with ten accounts, he does it every time. I’m actually enjoying him being around now, he’s not annoying anymore, it’s just adorable. :)

  46. MrBeJeCa95 says:

@FilmFanPete I agree! Its definitely no best picture or best acting nominee. But the costume design was great and so was the make up. For the most part, they really made the actors in the film look alot like the real life people!

  47. LightNightFright says:

I agree that Harold and Kumar wasnt that funny. I laughed like twice….

  48. robyn176 says:

Great video :) it’s the other way round for me I can’t stand Twilight but my boyfriend likes it haha. Really want to get Lady and the Tramp love it haven’t seen it since VHS though

  49. armorales102 says:

wait you like Twilight but not Harold and Kumar ?????
